The study of inscriptions. Which king or Emperor 's carving into caves ,iron pillars and rocks well-known? Emperor Ashoka. How are coins and seals useful? They facilitated trade and services. Some coins depicted wars, battles, faces of kings, and queens. Which metals were used for making coins? Gold, silver and copper. What is Numismatics? study of coins.  Who was called Pasupathi? Lord of all animals. Whom did the people worship in the Indus valley? Lord Siva.
